Horse TramsEdit

Rapidly developing in the nineteenth century, Zagreb need good public transport, since running in 1884, omnibuses were seasonal in nature and only zawoziły tourists from the train station to the hotel. In 1885 he began discussions on launching a horse tram, 1887 years in a project, which is assumed to guide a horse tramway from Zagreb to Samobor. After the transition troubles started building a horse tram in 1891.

Rolling stock consisted of 10 wagons with a closed roof and 6 cars with an open roof for a hot day. These wagons were manufactured in the Austrian factory in Weitzer Grazie. Tram depot and stables for horses was on the site of today's Museum of Technology.
